about
Tropical Snow has blown up from its original release sound bringing old time Jazz into the groove and extended psychedelic effects on Mat Robb’s guitar.
The song is a dedication to Colombia’s Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the world’s highest coastal range where palms, cacti and tropical dry forests meet with rain forests, treeless plains, and snow-capped peaks. The Sierra Nevada is also sacred to several indigenous communities who still practice centuries-old traditions. In the song, the Sierra Nevada sings to travellers who feel attracted only by Colombia’s stereotypes.
lyrics
We're going to Colombia, we're going yeah! Snowing in the tropic, snowing yes! Uau o-a-o-e-u-e
Tropical snow
You’ve got the flow
Tropical snow
Ready to blow
Tropical snow (go tropic)
You got the flow (you got it)
Tropical snow (you’re blowing)
Ready to blow (it’s snowing)
Tropical snow
is where I got off
I'm ready to party
I'm ready to glow
The sound of this jungle
The heat of this snow
The sweat of the condor
Vibe of the show!
Tropical snow
You’ve got the flow
Tropical snow
Ready to blow
Tropical snow (go tropic)
You got the flow (you got it)
Tropical snow (you’re blowing)
Ready to blow (it’s snowing)
I’m loving it baby
I’m loving her heart
I’m digging the music
I'm getting so high
The queen of the jungle
Is ready to ride
The man and the tourist
Admire Escobar
Tropical snow
You’ve got the flow
Tropical snow
Ready to blow
Tropical snow (go tropic)
You got the flow (you got it)
Tropical snow (you’re blowing)
Ready to blow (it’s snowing) BIS
Ready to go
Tro-tro-tropico
Tro-tro-tropico
[Text]
Tropical snow and I'm ready I'm ready to go
Tropical snow and I'm ready I'm ready to blow
Tropical snow and I'm ready I'm ready to go
Tropico, tropico, tropico...
Ayayay, Ohhh
Leyenda Tropical
It’s no tropical snow,
Ay la luna, Ay la cumbia
Gaseosa la tristeza
Give me give me rhythm
Give me give me life
You came into our country
You came into our lives
Push away the fakeness
Push away the lies
Share with us your story
Share the way we cry
Give me give me rhythm
Give me give me life
You came into our country
You came into our lives
Push away the fakeness
Push away the lies
Share with us your story
Share the way we laugh (BIS)
